## Start with the task in front of you

Choosing an answer asks you to identify the right option among the choices shown. Writing asks you to produce the answer yourself. In MojiMichi, the answer mode is recorded so you can see which kind of practice contributed to a session.

## Use both deliberately

If a deck is unfamiliar, a game with choices can be a useful place to begin. When you want to practise producing an answer, choose an available writing mode. You do not need to use the same mode for every session. Start with a small deck and choose a task you can give your attention to.

## Read the breakdown as well as the total

MojiMichi gives 10 points for a correct written answer and 5 for a correct chosen answer. That weighting is a rule of this app, not proof that one person knows twice as much as another. Compare the answer modes, attempts and accuracy alongside the main score.

## Guidance has a place too

Guided work and self-assessment are recorded separately and do not add main-score points. They can still be part of a practice session. Use the history to understand what you did, rather than treating every activity as interchangeable.
